Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Hey everyone. October is breast cancer awareness month. This has always been close to my heart due to the fact that my best friend's mom is a 2 time survior. Well now it is even closer to my heart due to my own mother being diagnoised a few weeks ago. Luckly it was caught early and hopefully all will go well with her surgery next week. She is a very strong and hardworking women with a very positive attitude. She has a long road ahead but she will get through this, as well as our family. She will do fine and I have a strong faith in God as well and know He will help us out as well. I just want to stress the importance to not put off getting checked if you feel something is wrong and to keep up with yearly tests for early detection. Remind your friends and loved ones at well. It's so important!!!! Wear Pink!

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. My grandmother is a survivor and I have a couple of friends that are survivors as well. I will keep your family in my prayers over the next few weeks!
ReplyDeleteMy favourtie teacher from Elementary school, who I would see on every vacation, was diagnosed my freshman year here and it was so hard not being there for someone who was always there for me. She is doing very well though, still teaching and loving it.
