Mrs. White,
I am having a hard time understanding what question number 4 is looking for exaclty. The question says, "If a 4 year old had a MLU of 3.0 what are two pieces of (many) information this would indicate?" I know where to look to find this information, but for some reason I am still struggling to decide how to answer it correctly. Could you please reword it for me?
Thanks,
Millie

Also, I just noticed that when I went to weekly resources, under Chapter 13, I cannot access the information in the folder entitled, "Your Language Project."
ReplyDeleteThis MLU gives you an idea of the child's current level of language proficiency. What I want to know if you understand is once you determine the MLU (students' papers from class showed me they can calculate MLU) is how do you use this information. What does the MLU mean?
ReplyDeleteUsing the resources in the book, handouts given in class and resources on Blackboard what can you determine about a child or their language who has demonstrated their language has a mean length utterance of 3.0
I'll have the Language Project folder updated and available by the end of tonight!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Mrs. White! :)
