I am service VP for my frat and one thing I am doing with them right now is collecting pop tabs and bottle tops to help cancer patients. I was thinking maybe as a class we could also collect.
Hey Erin. We have been doing this at our church. We collect any type of plastic lid, ranging from a shampoo bottle top to a medicine bottle top. I think it would be great getting the class involved! :)
Erin, I think this is a great idea. Most people do not realize what such small things mean and can do for someone with cancer. My mom keeps any kind of lids like this and she also collects can tabs. I took her to the Ronald McDonald House earlier this year to take her can tabs, she had over 50 pounds collected to help them.

OMG, 50 lbs, that is awesome! I am so glad to hear that people do this year round.
