Yesterday I got to go to the Special Olympics and it was an amazing site. The event was horseback riding and involved an obstacle course. Ken, my brother, who is a child with Autism got to be a contestant. He did a lot better than he did last year. He was very coorapretive and when he came to the mailbox that he had to open he took the stuffed animal out of the mailbox and hugged it! It was the sweetest thing. Ken got 5th out of 6th place but he did improve. Last year he got 6th place.

thats awsome. I attended a Special Olympics event in Columbus a few years ago. I also have a cousin with Autism, he competed in a few of the track and field events. I'm glad to hear that your brother had the oppertunity to compete in the games.
