With semantics, what content does "Yeah." go into?
The child is saying, "Yes. We will be ok." So, what does that mean?
I think it would be state (refers to state of affairs)?
I agree. That's her state. She is ok. For this project that is what I am wanting you to see. As you go deeper into linguistics you would be looking at different "structures." But, that is what the child is affirming.
