Hello Everyone!
My name is Amy Gruenwald. I am 21 years old and a senior Communication Studies major with a minor in American Sign Language. I will be graduating this May and I am VERY excited! I hope to possibly enter the Interpreter Training Program here at Eastern in Fall 2010. Unlike the majority of our class I am not an education major, but both my mother and sister are teachers so I can relate to that aspect of our course! I am very involved on campus and am an active member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority here at Eastern. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and doing anything fun! I have a 9 month old Shetland Sheep dog (Sheltie) named Brady who is the love of my life!! I am from Columbus, Ohio so I don't get to go home very often due to the drive. I am a big Buckeye's fan but I do like UK basketball.

Amy, I do allow Buckeyes in the class even though I am a Hoosier!! My cousin is actually an assistant superintendent of the Madeira City Schools which is just north of Cincinnati. It's great to have you with us among the education majors.
