Groups and blog

I just wanted to say that I love that we have group discussions! It's so nice to not have a teacher just talk at us always. I wish more teachers would use this technique because I get so much more out of class. I also am really liking this blogging thing. I really thought at first I wouldnt, but it is interesting to see everyone elses blogs and write my own as well.

    I agree...I like the class dicussions as well, I feel like I learn the material better. :)

    I def. agree! I really thought this blog thing was going to be nerdy, but I really enjoy it..haha! Also, it will allow us to ask questions we don't understand on here! =)

    Kayla, absolutely posting questions or follow up ideas from class has been one of the benefits other students have noted about the blog.

    I have had a few students who didn't find the blog helpful. Perhaps interacting with others didn't bring them the type of information or assistance that enhanced their learning or understanding of the course material.

    I love the class discussions as well it makes the learning environment so interesting and enjoyable. I was sitting in a class today and the teacher was just lecture and I always find myself having trouble to concentrate. But that is not the case when it comes to group discussion.

    I agree I would much rather us read or her explain something in class and then break up into groups. I get so bored in a class that you just sit and listen, I also think it helps me remember better if I can talk abbout it.
