Lunch

Today I had lunch at Koto Japanese Bistro with my boyfriend. All of the workers were Japanese, so it was very interesting communicating with them. They knew how to speak good english, which was good. I had been to other Japanese restaurants before and it is always nice to communicate well with them. They are from Japan, but they have learned the english language to come over here and work.

  1. I also ate there too last week, and I was surprised to see how well that they could speak English. It made the experience a little more enjoyable.

  2. I need to check out this place! Where is it? I love Japanese food. How often do we think about the number of people in our country who have taken the time and effort to learn to speak more than one language. Who are the majority of these people? Do you think it is beneficial to know more than one language? Ever wonder why more people don't become fluent in more than one language?

  3. Yes, I think about that all the time. What would happen if there was a student in my class who spoke better Spanish than English and how would I communicate with them? Especially if I had no idea to understand and speak that language fluently? The restaurant is in the new Richmond Centre. When you turn in go right and it is in the line of stores directly in front of the movie theater.
