9/9 class

I enjoyed the phonetic exercise we did in class. This gives me a better understanding of how children may see words and sound them out. There is sooooooo much to learn in the English language. I remember when I worked as an assistant in a K-1 classroom there was a song that helped the students to remember what sounds certain letters make like it said KN says N KNOCK KNOCK, OO says oo like hoot etc. I can't remember the exact words but I can assure you it was a lot catchier. I'm going to go ask them for it and see if I can bring the words to class.
