Syntax on tshirt
I was driving back to Richmond today from my hometown and I got to thinking about random things. Over the Summer, my Mom and two aunts took a "sister trip" to Savannah, Georgia. One of my aunts brought me back a shirt that said, "I is a college student." She got it for me just to tease me because I talk about how much I hate college and how much I hate being away from home. Now whenever I think of that shirt, I think of syntax! I know the shirt is a joke or whatever, but now whenever I see it all I think about is how some people really do talk like that and it is probably because no one ever corrected them when they made the error after so many times.

That's funny about the shirt. I feel the same way on the whole college thing. I'm ready for it to be over with. I just have to keep reminding myself that it's not only for my future, but for my future children.
ReplyDeleteThats funny. Do you wear the shirt?
ReplyDeleteI agree with you though when you said you wonder if peoploe have been taught better. I work in an office so I'm on the phone all day and I had a lady tell me about "them there cell phones" on Friday and thats exactly what I thought was did anyone ever teach you differently. I think its sad.
