BTC

This trip was nothing what I expected it to be! It was by far amazing! The stories one of the lady told us really touched me and makes me want to go into the field I am going into even more. I guess you can say it was inspiring to me! I would even consider working there some day if it was possible! The most advanced and amazing piece of equipment there (in my opinion) was the eye gaze machine. I could not believe how sensitive it was to pick up your eye movement. If I was not able to say what I wanted or able to move around, I would definitely buy one of these machines even though the lady said it costed like $18,000.00. It would just be worth the money! And you're just going to spend that money somewhere else anyways! If I ever have a child who needed any of the equipment I saw today (expensive or not) I would definitely take my child there and check out the technology. I would definitely buy something that would help enhance the life of my child. I could tell that these people were extremely passionate about what they do. It really touches my heart and inspires me so much to just meet people with strong desires like the people I met at the BTC. Another piece of technology that caught my interest was the Intellikeys. It just amazes me how you can remove the "slides" on the keyboard and it reads the different barcodes in order to read which piece is in the slot. It is also very neat that you can actually have sheets customized! I just cannot go into enough detail to even begin to describe all these cool instruments I saw today at tht BTC! But I can say the two most interesting ones to me were the intellikeys and the eye gaze! :) I am so glad I got to go on this trip. Oh, and thanks for the ride, Emily! :)
