Thanksgiving "Break"
I am very thankful for this break we get from school so I can spend time with my family! I am also thankful the assignments in this class were pushed back. However, my other teachers must not take into consideration that people actually want family time over the holidays! Some of my assignments were not even assigned until last week and they are due the first day I go back to classes. It irritates me because I have to worry about 3 papers to write PLUS other things when I finally get to spend time with family I rarely see. I am so glad that Mrs. White understands and cares for her students! :) Thank you so much, Mrs. White! You are one of the best teachers I have ever had at EKU! Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! :)

Thanks, Millie. I appreciate your kind words. I make a ton of mistakes each semester and continually reflect and re-evaluate how I can become a more student-centered teacher that focuses on their learning and needs. It sincerely is my prayer that I model what kind of teachers we need in k12 working with our children and the leaders of tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteI totally understand. I was looking forward to Thanksgiving break but for most of the break I have been doing homework. I thought my break would be fun and not stressful. However, I have been stressed out about getting everything done and more stressed about what I still have to do! I agree with you and am so glad Mrs. White moved our projects! Can't wait for this semester to be over!!
Well unlike you pro-active individuals I'm sitting here freaking out because I didn't do any school work over the break - Now I wish I had used my time off more productively. :(
