I babysit an 8 year old and a 6 year old... I passed one of my professors while with them and she said "I didn't know you had kids, Danele, they are precious!" I am 19 years old!! As if it wouldn't have been impossible enough for me to have a kid at 11, I sure didn't have another at 13!
One of my teachers today told me she was going to have to put me in the corner for "being silly!" I was heavily caffeinated and she was boring me. Of course I couldn't sit still and focus, what do you want?
In the nursery we have a precious little boy with down sydrome. He is almost two years old but functions at about a 8 month level. I didn't know it before but they are teaching him sign language and it is the cutest thing. He signed that he wanted food so i held him while he fed himself cheerios, signed when he wanted his drink, and when he was done he signed thank you. I was honestly in awe.

Don't feel bad about people thinking their your kids. My mom's had that happen a lot. One time she had me and my cousin out and a woman came over and told her that she had beautiful children. My mom of course said thanks and tried to walk away. The woman then asked my mom who my cousin looked like and my mom said that he looked like his dad. Then she asked who I looked like and she said that I looked like my dad. Now, our dads are brother but my dad had blonde hair and his dad has brown hair. So when my mom said that the woman was shocked and just turned and walked away.
