Test #2
Hey you all. I think that we should keep the test date the same and have it extended to the 14th for those who need a little extra time with it. If we wait to take it on the 21st we will only have a little over 2 weeks to go over new material and study for our next test on November 9th. I rather get it over with before Fall Break anyways.

I agree with you, I do not think that we should push it back because then its just going to be closer to Test 3. But, we should extend the date so that we have a longer chance to get it done over Fall Break.
ReplyDeleteLet me weigh in . . . midterm grades are due by October 16th. Therefore I would prefer for there to be TWO tests already completed.
ReplyDeleteI am still willing to entertain the idea of pushing back the due date until the 14th although keeping the schedule as it is with it due on the 9th is very appealing.
i would like the same, i like having the extended time, it gives us extra time to make sure we can do better on the test.

ReplyDeleteI agree with what everyone is saying above. I feel that we need to keep the test opened o the same day but extended to the 14th so that we have a weekend to work on the test and make sure that our answer's are right! I also agree with Mrs. White b/c I feel we need to have to exams on our midterm grade!

ReplyDeleteI am like most everyone else as well. I would like to extend the due date to the 14th. Having those few extra days to work on it will be a great help to those of us that are not traditional students and who have other resposibilities such as work and families at home. Its like Mrs. White said in class, we can still get it done by the original date on the 9th, but we also have those extra days if needed.
ReplyDeleteI want the test to be open from the 9th to the 14th. If the test is due on the 9th when would it be opened up? Depending on how long you would open it I could go with it still being due on the 9th if I had a few days to work on it.
ReplyDeleteI agree as well option 2 gives us more time to work on the test, so hopefully we can do better on it. Also pushing it back to the 21st would make it really close to the third test.

ReplyDeleteI love the idea of having the exam extended to the 14th. That's my vote.
ReplyDeleteI think that having the test open until the 14th would be the best option for the class. I would say keep it the same but I have a test the Thursday and Friday before fall break and two papers due so that might be a little much for me to try to do all at once.

ReplyDeleteWill do! The test will open this Wednesday and be available until the 14th. I am asking for as many who CAN to finish it early so that I can get started grading. I will do my very best to grade as they are finished getting them back to you sooner and ensuring everyone has theirs graded prior to mid-terms. This means however, some people will have their feedback possibly BEFORE others have submitted their tests. I will ask that everyone use the honor system when working with one another. We'll discuss more in class.
