I know you guys have to be getting tired of me telling you that there's something else wrong with a member of my family but it's happened again. My grandfather went in for a heart cath on Monday and as soon as they started to put the catheter in they saw that the blockage was over 70% and they stopped immediately. They have now told him that he has to have at least a double bypass. The doctor was trying to get it scheduled for this week but the only doctor who could do it that soon doesn't except my grandfather's insurance and we can't afford to pay him outright.
So, now we have found another doctor in Lexington at Central Baptist who will be doing the surgery. My grandfather goes to see him Thursday and hopefully he'll be able to tell us when my grandfather's surgery will be. I'm actually really hoping for next week even though it is Thanksgiving because then I won't have to worry about missing class.

Trista, you certainly have had a very challenging semester. I am sorry that so many people in your family have had to face health challenges. I know this can be exhausting for the family.
ReplyDeleteI never tire of students (or anyone) sharing with me prayer requests. I still am asking for people to pray for me. It is my honor to be able to pray for my students and their concerns. Your grandfather and family will be in my prayers.

I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers, if you will do the same for my family, my papow is still dealing with his cancer recovery and my mamow may have to have surgery soon, so it makes it harder on my family. So if you will just keep us in yor prayers also...
